Ingredients

5 granny smith apples

1/2 pkg. (9 oz) yellow cake mix

2 T. sugar

1 T. cinnamon

1/4 or a bit more butter softened

Vanilla Ice Cream

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Peel, core and slice apples and place in a pie plate.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients, except ice cream in a bowl. Mix until crumbly and sprinkle over apples.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min. or until tender. Serve warm with ice cream.
