Ingredients
1 serving asparagus
1 tablespoon almonds (slivered)
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Steam asparagus until tender.
- Rinse the asparagus under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- Melt the butter in a pan.
- Add the almonds and cook until golden brown.
- Remove from heat.
- Add the lemon juice and salt.
- Pour over the asparagus.
