Ingredients
Fresh Broccoli 1 Bunch
Unsalted Butter 4-5 TBSP
Pecorino-Romano Cheese finely grated
Preparation
Chop the broccoli into florets and manageable stem pieces or cut it into thinner stems with the tops attached. Steam the broccoli lightly so it’s crunchy but tender. Remove from heat so it stops cooking. Drain.
While steaming the broccoli brown the butter until it’s golden tan and smells nutty. Remove it immediately from the heat so it doesn’t scorch. As soon as it’s ready toss it with the broccoli
Then toss with cheese.
Serve
