Ingredients
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1 cup canola oil
1 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1.5 tsp vanilla
1 cup boiling water
Preparation
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Line bottom of two 8" round pans with parchment paper. Greese and flour pans. Combine all ingredients in one bowl. Mix on medium speed until well blended. Pour batter into pans evenly. Bake in middle of oven 45 minutes - 1 hour (or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean) Allow to cool before frosting.
