Ingredients

1 pound ground raisins

1 cup white sugar

1 cup cold water

1 tablespoon flour

1 tablespoon vanilla

2 cups sugar

1 cup lard

2 eggs

1 cup milk

2 teaspoons baking soda

4 teaspoons baking powder

5 cups flour

Preparation

Oreheat oven to 400.

FOR FILLING: Heat together raisins, 1 cup sugar and water. Thinken wit 1 tablspoon of flour. Remove from fire and add vanilla

FOR DOUGH: Mix together remaining ingredients. Roll thin (but not too thin) cut out and bake until lightly brown (about 1o/14 minutes).
