Ingredients
11/3 cup raisins
11/3 cup water
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
11/2 cup flour
1teaspoon baking powder
1teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Bring raisins and water to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
Mix together brown sugar and butter. Beat. Add egg and vanilla. Mix well. Add cooled raisins.
Mix flour,baking powder,soda and salt together. Add to liquids until well mixed. Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes.
