Ingredients

1 cup butter. softened

1 cup sugar

3 cups quick oats

3/4 cups flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. cloves

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

1 cup raisins

1/4 cup milk

Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, blend together butter and sugar; add oats. Sift together flour, baking soda, cloves and cinnamon. Add to oats mixture, blending well. Stir in raisins and milk; mix thoroughly. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Place 3 inches apart on greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire rack to cool.
