Ingredients

1 c margarine or butter

1 c brown sugar

1 c white sugar

1 egg

1 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. soda

1 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1 c quick oatmeal

1 c Rice Krispies

1 c chocolate chips

2 c flour

Preparation

Cream butter and sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, soda, baking powder, and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in oatmeal, Rice Krispies, and chocolate chips. Roll into walnut-sized balls and then lightly in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
