Ingredients
2 pints fresh, ripe raspberries
1/2 lemon zest and juice
1 1/4 cups water
1 1/4 cups sugar
ice cream freezer
Preparation
Prepare simple syrup by bringing to boil the sugar and water, remove from heat and add the zest and lemon juice. Let cool completely. Puree raspberries in blender, add simple syrup, pulse and pour into freezer. Follow freezer instructions and place into containers after it is frozen and freeze in freezer until ready to eat. Hint: May need to warm a touch before eating.
