Ingredients
4 cups fresh or frozen ripe mango
2 cups filtered water
2 cups ice (if using fresh mango)
½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
½ cup dandelion greens (*optional - see note in post)
¼ cup peeled chopped cucumber
2 ¼ Tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
2 or 3 tsp finely chopped jalapeno pepper depending on heat of pepper
1 ½ tsp finely chopped red onion
¼ tsp Celtic sea salt or more to taste
Preparation
-Place all the ingredients in your blender (I use a Vitamix) and puree until smooth and creamy.
-Tweak flavours to taste - you might want some more chili pepper, onion, lime juice or salt.
-Makes three 8-ounce glasses
