Ingredients

3-4lbs. country style ribs

1/4 cup olive oil

3 T. sliced garlic

1/2 cup italian dressing

1/2 cup catalina dressing

4 large yellow onion, thick slices

salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Put ribs and onions in a large ziploc bag. Combine all ingredients and pour over ribs and onions. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour and let come to room temperature before grilling. Grill over indirect heat for a total of 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the thickness of the ribs. During the last 10 minutes of cooking, cook ribs over direct heat to carmalize the surface, basting with reserve marinade. Grill onions along with ribs on the top rack of your grill, but not the last 10 minutes of direct cooking time. The last 10 minutes of cooking time, brush the tomatoes with the reserve marinade and cook until charred.
