Ingredients

1 Head of Red Cabbage, chopped

2 tblspn butter or olive oil

1 large onion, finely chopped

2 carrots peeled and shredded

1 can of Beef Broth

1 cup of red wine

1 bay leaf

2 apples, peeled and finely chopped

2 tbplsns red wine vinegar

3 teaspoons dried cloves

salt and pepper to taste

3 tblspns whiskey

Preparation

Saute Onion in a Large pot, over medium high heat until translucent. Add all of the ingredients and bring to t a boil. Reduce heat to low for 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper and 3 Tblspns whiskey.
