Ingredients

Ingrediants - (Soup)

Cooking pot/round oven dish (metal)

1 2 cups red lentils

2 large onions

2 garlic cloves

3 tbs fresh coriander (optional)

1 tbs cumin powder

salt and pepper to taste

water or stock (enough to cover the ingrediants)

Fattah (Bread based)

2 rounds large Arabic Bread or 5 slices white bread

2 tbs ghee or dripping

Preparation

Soup: Boil all ingrediants until soft and then blend Fattah: Cut bread into small pieces and then fry in ghee or dripping until crisp

Pour the soup over the bread mixture and stir until soup is absorbed.
