Ingredients

2 cups lentils

4 carrots

1 onion

Garlic cloves

3-4 green onions

1/4 cup lemon juice

1-2 tsp. cumin (spice to taste)

1 box broth

Preparation

Dice carrot, onion, garlic. Sauté onions carrots and garlic. Wash lentils. Add lentils. Add broth.

Put it in the crock pot on low and leave it all day.

Purée with the mixer (blender or food processor is better). Add 1 tsp. cumin, if you want more add more.

Return to pot.

Chop green onions. Sauté in a pan with a little olive oil. When light brown, add to soup and stir them in.
