Ingredients

12 short ribs (3 1/2 pounds)

1 TBS olive oil

salt and pepper to taste

1 large onion, diced

3 garlic cloves, minced

2 tsp thyme (dried) increase if using fresh

3 TBs flour

1 1/2 cups red wine and chicken broth

1 can fire roasted tomatoes

Preparation

Using oil, saute ribs in multi-cooker or use saute pan on stove. Saute rest of vegetables. Add rest of ingredients cook several hours until done If you want a thicker sauce, add the flour, thinner sauce, omit it.
