Ingredients
4 cucumber
2 small onions, sliced
1 T. celery seed
1T. dill weed
1 C. sugar
1 C. cider vinegar
Preparation
In small saucepan heat the sugar, vinegar, celery seed and dill weed. Stir until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Pear and cut cucumbers thin. Cut onions in slices and separate rings. Place sugar, vinegar water into a glass covered dish. Add the onions and cucumbers. Refrigerate and keep cold. Serve drained cucumbers and onions in a dish. Keep the sugar vinegar solution for additional onions and cucumbers as needed.
