1 1/2 CUPS SUGAR

2 EGGS BEATEN

2 TBLSP MILK

2 TBLSP FLOUR

1/4 TSP NUTMEG

1/8 TSP SALT

MIX ABOVE INGREDIENTS TO MAKE CUSTARD

MIX

3 CUPS OF FRESH OR FROZEN RHUBARB WITH CUSTARD AND

POUR INTO A CRUST LINED PIE PAN

DOT TOP WITH 1 TBSP BUTTER BEFORE ADDING TOP CRUST.

Preparation

MIX CUSTARD INGREDIENTS, ADD RHUBARB, POUR INTO BOTTOM CRUST. DOT WITH BUTTER AND TOP WITH CRUST. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 50-55 MINUTES, REMOVE FROM OVEN. BRUSH WITH MILK, MIX 1/4 CUP SUGAR, 1 TSP FLOUR,1/8 TSP MACE.

SPRINKLE ABOVE MIXTURE OVER CRUST AND RETURN TO THE OVEN FOR 5 TO 10 MINUTES UNTIL BROWN.

COOL PIE COMPLETELY, THEN REFRIGERATE OVERNIGHT.
