Ingredients
2 cups cooked rice
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup milk
2 Tbsp butter or margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 tsp vanilla
dash of nutmeg
Preparation
Mix all ingredients together in deep baking dish. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
This recipe calls for removing at 30 minutes to stir in raisins & vanilla, then sprinkle nutmeg on top… then continue baking another 30 minutes (for 60 total).
Tip: This is a custard and would be best baked with an outer dish with water.
