Ingredients
5 cups milk
1 cup rice
6 T sugar
1/2 t salt
raisins
Preparation
Scald 5 cups milk. Add: 1 cup rice 6 tablespoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt
Stir, cover, simmer for about 1 hour until thicker. Add raisins or prunes. Simmer another 15 minutes. Serve warm or chilled.
