Ingredients

On Stove:

1 Quart of whole milk (4 cups)

1/2 cup. white rice

Pinch of salt

Off Stove:

1 egg

1/4 cup of sugar

1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

1st, mix together Milk, rice and the pinch of salt, cook on double boiler. Cook for one hour-Stir Regularly on gentle boil (keep it boiling)

~Take Off Stove~

in a bowl add the egg and mix the suger in to it. Slowly stir into rice and milk. Add the Vanilla.

If it looks runny-put back in double boiler and cook until it thickens (about 5 minutes)
