Tomato Sauce

1 can Cento peeled Italian Tomatoes(San Marzano)

1/2 cam tomatoe paste

1 shallot… See More

2 cloves garlic(minced or pasted)

1 tsp dry oregano

1 tsp chopped basil

1/2 teaspoon gray salt or sea salt

2 bay leaves

1/2 tsp craked black pepper

Preparation

Directions: Combined 2-3 tbs olive oil with shallots, garlic, oregano, basil, and bay leaves and simmer low for 10-20 minutes. Add tomatoe paste and cook down for another 5-10 minutes. In a blender, add the can of peeled tomatoes and give 5-6 quick pulses. Add the paste mixture to the blender and give another quick pulse or two Add back to the pot and simme lowr for about an hour
