Ingredients

1 lb. Brussels sprouts - the fresher the better

2 T Olive oil

Salt (optional)

Preparation

Wash Brussels sprouts and pat dry. Slice stem end off and cut each Brussels sprout in half. Place is large bowl and toss with olive oil. Place in one layer cut side down in large roasting pan. Roast for 10 to 12 minutes. Toss and roast for 2 to 4 minutes more.

Salt to taste (optional)

May be served hot or at room temperature.
