Ingredients
1 whole chicken
1 onion
lemon half
2-3 garlic cloves
few sprigs thyme or rosemary
few tablespoons butter
salt and pepper
Preparation
Remove innards from the chicken and cut extra fat around cavity.Rinse chicken and pat dry with paper towels. Salt and pepper inside the cavity and add aromatics. Put the chicken in a roasting pan and tie the legs firmly together. Brush melted butter over the outside of the bird. Salt and pepper generously.
