Ingredients
1 medium size pumpkin
salt
water
sauce pan
1 Tbsp of olive oil
cookie sheet.
Preparation
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Scoop out the inside of a pumpkin, separate the seeds from the stringy core and rinse seeds.
In a small saucepan, add seeds and salt to water. Bring to boil, simmer for ten minutes, and remove from heat and drain.
Spread the 1 Tbsp of olive oil over cookie sheet, spread seeds in one layer, and bake on top rack until they begin to brown approx ten minutes.
