Ingredients
10 shallots, broken into unpeeled cloves
2 T vegetable oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350.
Place the shallots, oil, salt, and pepper in a small baking pan. Stir to coat the shallots with the oil and seasoning. Bake for about 20 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally until the shallots are soft in the center. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 1 week.
