Ingredients
2 sticks of butter, room temp
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs, room temp
2 t. vanilla
2 cups all purpose flour,mix in 1 t. baking soda, 1/2 t. baking powder and 1/2 t. salt.
2 cups old fashioned oat meal
2 cups chopped pecans
1 package choc chips
Preparation
-In medium-sized bowl beat eggs at medium speed for 4 minutes; add eggs, one at a time and beat for 1/2 minute; add vanilla. -Lower speed to minimum and add flour (scrape sides of bowl several times.) -Mix in pecans and choc chips. -Preheat oven to 350 with 2 racks in middle of oven. -Using medium scoop, place 1 dozen balls on each of two cookie sheets. -Cook for 8 minutes and switch the sheets from one shelf to the other. -Cook for 8 more minutes, let cool on sheets for a few minutes before placing cookies on cooling rack. -Eat.
