Ingredients

1 1/2 cups brown sugar

1/2 cup shortening

1 egg

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup sour milk

1 teaspoon soda

1 teaspoon vanila

2 cups rubarb cut into small 1/4" slices

Topping:

1/2 cup sugar

1 teaspoon cinnimon

Preparation

Mix all ing. in bowl . If you don’t have sour milk, take 1 cup of milk and add one Tablespoon of vinegar or lemon juice and let sit for five minuets to sour the milk . Then pour into a 13 x 9" cake pan. Then mix sugar and cinnimon in small bowl and then sprinkle over top of cake mixture . Then bake at 350 for 45 min.
