Ingredients

Dough:

2 sticks butter (softened)

2 cups sifted flour

1/2 pint sour cream

1 egg yolk

Filling:

1/2 cup each chopped nuts, raisins, sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Optional: can add mini chocolate chips

Preparation

Dough preparation:

  1. Mix all ingredients together. Form into a ball. 2. Refrigerate for about 3 hours (or freeze for 1 hour). Meanwhile, prepare fillimng.
  2. Divide dough ball into fourths.
  3. Roll each fourth into a approximate 12 inch circle, keeping the remaining dough refrigerated.
  4. Cut each circle into 12 pie shaped wedges.
  5. Sprinkle filling onto the wedge and roll up starting at wide end, forming a crescent shape.
  6. Arrange on a cookie sheet that ahs been sprayed with Pam.
  7. Bake in a opreheated 350 oven for 30 minutes.

Filling: combine all the ingredients. They can be chopped in a food processor or left in larger pieces.
