Ingredients
2 large apples (red or green)
4 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons dark rum
1/4 cup golden raisins
1/8 cup slivered almonds
cinnamon to taste
whole cream
Preparation
Thinly slice and saute the apples (with or without peeling) in butter and sugar. When soft, add the next 4 ingredients and heat through. Serve warm with a little cream in each dish.
