Ingredients
1 cup butter
2-1/4 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 TBSP water
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
Preparation
In medium bowl beat butter with mixer 30 seconds or until softened. Add about 1/2 the flour, all the sugar, water, & vanilla. Beat till thoroughly combined. Beat or stir in remaining flour. Stir in pecans.
Shape dough into 1-1/4-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in 325F oven about 20 minutes or till bottoms are lightly browned. Cool on wire rack.
Shake cooled cookies in bag with powdered sugar
