Ingredients

3/4 cup sugar

1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries

1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin

1/4 cup cold water

1/2 cup hot water

1 tablespoon lemon juice

dash of salt

1/2 chp whipping cream - whipped

1 cooked pie shell

Preparation

Combine 3/4 cup sugar and chopped fruit and let sit for 20 minutes

Soften gelatin in cold water then add hot water. Cool gelatin mixture and add to all other ingredients except whipped cream. Let partially set, then fold in whipped cream. Place in pie shell.
