1 kg potatoes boiled, peeled, mashed
1 cup sago
2 teaspoons rock salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 tablespoon cilantro – chopped
1 teaspoon green chillies – chopped
1 teaspoon lemon juice
butter and oil
Preparation
Wash sago until water clears. Soakin water with water coming 1 1/2 in above sago for 1 1/2 hour. Drain and mix in potatoes and all other ingredients. Shape into flat round vadas 2" in diameter. grease hands if it sticks. Heat oil and butter and fry vadas until golden on both sides. serve hot.
