Ingredients

1/3 cup olive oil

2 large onions sliced

1/4 cup butter

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1/8 tsp saffron

1/8 tsp cayene pepper

1 chicken cut up

1/2 cup blanced almonds

1/2 cup golden raisins

2 tsp lemon juice

Preparation

Saute onions in olive oil and butter. Add spices. Now add chicken and stir to coat chicken. Cover and simmer for one and a half to 2 hours. Remove chicken. Cook onion sauce over a high heat until thickened. Stir in almonds raisins and lemon juice. Serve sauce over chicken. Rice goes well as a side
