Ingredients
1 kg Potatoes (I think that Maris Pipers that have started to get eyes make the best, sweet creamy mash)
10 sage leaves
1 spanish onion (white)
4 tbsp butter
salt and pepper
Preparation
- Peel, cut and boil the potatoes in salted water until cooked (about 20 minutes)
- Chop the onion, and cook in half the butter on a low heat so it is caramelized, add the sage.
- Mash the cooked potato with the other half of the butter until smooth.
- Stir in onions and sage mixture.
