Ingredients
8-10 oz. of fresh tortellini or ravioli (not meat stuffed)
3/4 cup unsalted butter
8 medium to large sage leaves, slivered
freshly ground pepper to taste
1/4 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese (or to taste)
Preparation
Bring pasta to boil and cook according to directions.
While pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a skillet. Add the sage and cook over low heat for 4 minutes.
Drain the pasta and toss it with the sage butter. Serve warm, passing pepper and parmesan on the side.
