Ingredients

1 lb of ground lean beef

1 medium onion - chopped and caramelized

1 can of cream of mushroom condensed soup

1-2 garlic cloves minced

1/2 box of fresh mushrooms sliced

1-2 cups of Beef Stock or “Better than Bullion”

1/2 cup Italian Bread Crumbs

Dash of Worcestershire Sauce(optional)

1 tablespoon of vinegar

4 tablespoons of corn oil

Preparation

  1. In pan with oil - Partially caramelize the onions and start to brown the mushrooms. Add garlic at last minute and remove from pan.

  2. Combine meat, breadcrumbs, quarter of onion/mushroom/garlic mix, 1 spoonful of cream of mushroom condensed soup and Worcester sauce (optional). Form into 4 patties.

  3. Brown 4 patties on both sides. Remove from pan.

  4. Deglaze pan with 1 tablespoon of vinegar

  5. Return onion/mushroom/garlic to pan. Add cream of mushroom soup and beef stock. Stir.

  6. Return beef patties to sauce. Cover and let cook through.
