Preparation

Simmer in oil a 2-lb. piece of beef round. Brown in skillet. Add 2 small chopped onions. When onions are brown, add 1/2 glass white wine. Simmer 10 minutes, add 1 large can tomato purée. (Add 1/2-3/4 can water to purée. Cook about 1 hour. Serve on rice or pasta.
