Ingredients

1 28 oz. can of stewed tomatoes

1/2 of a red onion

1 bunch of cilantro

garlic salt

pepper

4 yellow Serrano chiles

2 jalapenos

Preparation

  1. Blend stewed tomatoes for preferred consistency
  2. Combine stewed tomatoes, chopped onion, chopped cilantro, garlic salt and pepper
  3. Boil chiles for 10 - 15 mins until soft, then cut off stems and blend until smooth
  4. Add chiles 2 mixture and stir
  5. Add lime juice if desired
